Integration
Here at Trechō, we are passionate about data-driven performance. To provide the highest quality programs, we have integrated RunDNA into our practice. This technology enables real-time analysis of our clients, allowing us to directly implement strength and conditioning programs tailored to optimize performance. Whether you are a casual walker seeking to be pain-free, a track athlete, or an endurance runner, this software dynamically identifies applicable strategies to help you take the next step in your movement journey.
-
It all begins with an initial gait analysis. Each analysis is tailored to a specific athlete’s goals. No matter the objective—walking, sprint training, track distance, or endurance—the steps are similar. If necessary, we will have the athlete complete a warm-up before placing body markers on targeted regions of the lower body. The athlete will then run on the treadmill for 1 to 10 minutes, depending on the data required. This process ensures precise measurement and analysis to inform effective training strategies.
-
Our RunDNA algorithm rapidly analyzes your gait and delivers immediate statistics. Based on your gait category, running readiness assessment, and loading levels, our coach customizes personalized training programs tailored to your needs. This ensures optimal performance improvement while reducing the risk of injury.
-
Runner Readiness Assessment (RRA) is a critical tool used by Running Specialists to tailor treatment and training plans according to each athlete’s current condition and capabilities. By evaluating factors such as strength, mobility, biomechanics, and injury history, the RRA helps identify potential risk areas and ensures that interventions are personalized and effective. Implementing the RRA plays a vital role in minimizing the risk of injury and enhancing running efficiency, enabling athletes to perform at their best while maintaining long-term health.
-
Results can be seen within the first session. Utilizing immediate intervention modalities, our coaches make precise adjustments and recommendations that directly correct an athlete’s biomechanical kinetics, leading to measurable improvements in power and efficiency.
-
Although a single gait analysis can provide valuable insights, our team recommends following it with a 2-4 week strength and conditioning program at home or in the gym, specifically targeting gait-related modalities. After this period, the client should return for a second gait analysis to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments. Additionally, we have observed a statistical trend among post-race athletes, who often benefit from a gait refresher to safely and effectively resume their training. This approach ensures more precise, individualized support and helps in optimizing performance while reducing injury risk.
